Rules for safe passwords
- A safe password consists of at least 8 characters, the longer the better
- Do not use a combination with birthdays or pet names
- Never use words which can be found plain in a dictionary
- Avoid common repetition or keyboard patterns such as 1234abcd or asdfgh
- Do not simply append or prepend a symbol to a single word
- Use a combination of upper- and lowercase characters, symbols and numbers
